Basic Vegetable Stock

Basic stock, can be used for any soups.. Time to get healthy!



Serves: 4
Preparation Time:  10 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Complexity : Easy  


Ingredients:

  • Butter or olive oil – 2 tsp
  • Garlic, chopped – 5
  • Onions, chopped – 1
  • Celery ribs chopped – 2
  • Carrots, chopped -1 big
  • Water – 4 to 5 B
  • Bay leaves -2
  • Green onions, chopped – 1/4 cup [ optional ]
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  1. Chop vegetables into 1-inch
  2. Heat butter in a soup pot. Add garlic cook for 30 sec
  3. Then add all veggies and cook over high heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Add salt and water and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes with a partially covered lid
  5. Strain the stock and discard vegetables.
  6. Now stock is ready
