Basic stock, can be used for any soups.. Time to get healthy!
Serves: 4
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Complexity : Easy
Ingredients:
- Butter or olive oil – 2 tsp
- Garlic, chopped – 5
- Onions, chopped – 1
- Celery ribs chopped – 2
- Carrots, chopped -1 big
- Water – 4 to 5 B
- Bay leaves -2
- Green onions, chopped – 1/4 cup [ optional ]
- Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
- Chop vegetables into 1-inch
- Heat butter in a soup pot. Add garlic cook for 30 sec
- Then add all veggies and cook over high heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add salt and water and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes with a partially covered lid
- Strain the stock and discard vegetables.
- Now stock is ready
